How Well Do You Know Your Shit?

Kids love the word "Poop". Somehow it seems to send them into fits of giggles whenever they hear this word. However, poop or "shit" is no laughing business.

Apparently, your poop can tell you interesting things about your health and here is how.

From time to time, it is always a good idea to take a good look at your poop before you flush and here are a few things you can look out for  which may indicate troubles within your body systems...

Just observing the texture of your poop may not be enough information or indication of what is wrong or right. It is best to also observe the shades and colours of your poop as it will provide more information. If your poop is anything other than brown, it is always a good idea to observe and see if the next session delivers the same colour.

Also, do note that the colour of your poop may also be affected by the foods that you eat. For example, people who drink lots of beetroots for example may have dark purple stools.

PS: To get healthy poop, it will be a good idea to consume a high fiber diet with lots of water and exercise. It is however difficult to consume 20-25gm of fiber daily as most people only consume 10-15gm of fiber from their daily diets.  To get that extra 10gm of fiber in your diet, you may have to consume another 10 cups of cabbages, carrots or celery everyday! (Yes, just like a rabbit!:))

Did You Know WIFI Will Kill Plants Or Worse, Harm Your Children?

According to the website, Global Research, a group of 9 graders designed a science experiment as part of a school project to test the effect of cellphone radiation on plants.

The results has since caused a stir as it seems to imply that WIFI (which forms part of the electronic magnetic radiation our human body is constantly exposed to) can kill plants!

The project was designed on the premise where the girls made an observation that if they slept with their mobile phones near their heads at night, they often had difficulty concentrating at school the next day. They wanted to test the effect of a cellphone’s radiation on humans, but their school, Hjallerup School in Denmark, did not have the equipment to handle such an experiment. So the girls designed an experiment that would test the effect of cellphone radiation on a plant instead.

The students placed six trays filled with Lepidium sativum, a type of garden cress into a room without radiation, and six trays of the seeds into another room next to two routers that according to the girls calculations, emitted about the same type of radiation as an ordinary cellphone.

The girls then observed and measured the rate of growth of the plants over a 12 day period and photographed their results.

At the end of the 12 days, the cress seeds placed near the router had not grown. Many of them were completely dead. While the cress seeds planted in the other room, away from the routers, thrived.

The experiment earned the girls (pictured below) top honors in a regional science competition and the interest of scientists around the world.

But of course, this is classroom science and there could be inconsistencies in their studies and cannot be used as a basis for a fact.

However, in another study done Wageningen University in the Netherlands, scientists from Wageningen University looked at trees near Wi-Fi hotspots for a three-month period. They found a metal-like shine on the leaves, indicating that the upper and lower epidermis were dying. Experts also found that corn plants near the hotspots were growing much slower than usual. Some began to wonder if the presence of Wi-Fi access points was contributing to the blight. Was the need for wireless computing bringing on a “Silent Spring” moment?

The test though was also declared non-conclusive as the university said more tests need to be conducted to confirm if this is indeed the case.

But not all studies are non conclusive.

In 2009, Austrian Health insurance company AUVA released a study linking Wi-Fi to adverse health effects, including cancer, reduced fertility, decreased ability to concentrate, and disturbed sleep. AUVA showed radiation levels well below the standard limits could impact the central nervous system, immune system, and protein synthesis.

The effects mostly occur in metabolically active cells (growing cells), which means children are at a higher risk.

The body uses electromagnetic signals to communicate between cells, organs and tissues. The radiation overlaps and interferes with the body’s internal communication, hence the havoc.

Currently, many schools have anti wifi policies. However, as wifi is freely available EVERYWHERE in the city and a main staple in many modern homes, chances are, your body and your children's body will continually be exposed to WIFI.

• Place your router in the corner in your house furthur away from areas where you will spend alot of time like your living room or your bedroom.

You very often see these before/after images in our MyAmWellness.com website.

1. The GDV Machine was invented by Professor Konstantin Korotkov.
   Some of you will find this name familiar as Dr Konstantin is featured in some of our AmWell Videos and the GDV pictures of products BEFORE and AFTER AMized Fusion Technology are very often used in our marketing literature.
   
   Somewhere in the mid 90s, Konstantin Korotkov, Professor of Computer Science and Biophysics at Saint-Petersburg Federal University of Informational Technologies, Mechanics and Optics, developed a scientific device based on the ancient Chinese system of energy meridians. It’s for measuring the bio-energy of living organisms, as well as the environment. (That is the bio-energy field we are always talking about in our marketing literature.)
   
   The device provides a painless evaluation that can highlight potential health (physiological and psycho-emotional) abnormalities. This device is known as a Gas Discharge Volume Device, known also as GDV.
   
   
2. The GDV Machine gleans information by passing a painless electric current through your fingers!
   
   The GDV Machine passes through a painless electric current through different points in our fingers the machine collects information about how our bodies react to this by measuring the minute amounts of gases that we discharge in relation to this current. These amounts of gases are so minute they usually cannot be seen with the naked eye.
